12/52–“Home Depot Super Scavenger Hunt”

In the theme of Races guess who just got back from the “Home Depot Super Scavenger Hunt” Its not true but in Dali Mans mind stories come to life in the matter of imagination..so her we go.
I assume not many of you have heard about the “Home Depot Super Scavenger Hunt” Its a rare event that is hosted on the second Friday of April at 10am. So we thought hey lets check this out. We showed up at Home Depot with our family ready to win this “Home Depot Super Scavenger Hunt”. We had our game faces on when we walked in the store and we were met by 42 other families all there to compete in the “Home Depot Super Scavenger Hunt” wow we had no clue it was that popular of an event –anyway that didn’t deter us at all. Like i said we had our game faces on, whatever that actual means but we were ready. The way the “Home Depot Super Scavenger Hunt” works is that you get a list with 20 items on that list and then you have to run around the store collecting each item that is on the list, each family takes turns and the family with the fastest time wins. Sounds good to me- So all the families drew numbers to see what order they would go in- We drew #42 last team to go…at this point 41 other families had made there way through the Scavenger Hunt with the best time being posted by the Smith family at 10 minutes and 1 seconds to complete 10:01. So we knew that we had to get this done in 10 minutes or less to win. I looked at Tam then Tam looked at Dali and we all nodded ready to go. The buzzer sounded and we were off in a mad dash across the store as Dali Man steered the cart. Left turn here right turn there Mr Dali Man was in charge commanding the wheel .We first zoomed down the outdoor section picking up our first item, then off to the tool section and found a 12 piece wrench set and next was the random pink insulation stuff? Thats what the list said and as you can see this was the exact second this photo was taken mid race as Dali Man directs me to “go go go”, next we flew down to the flooring section and so on, until we had our list complete –It felt like time was flying by and we had no clue how long we had been out on the race knowing that 10 minutes is what we needed to win. Out of breath and with our cart full and list complete we made our final run to the finish line—as we crossed the line looking up to see the final time that we had posted was 10 minutes exactly. Wow whats the odds of that? We had won >by 1 second. We cheered in excitement and Home Depot crowned us the winner of this years “Home Depot Super Scavenger Hunt” telling us as the winners we could choose any item in the store to have as our prize. So we told Dali because of all his help he could choose the prize and that he could get anything he wanted from the store……..guess what he picked.–Yup we now are owners of this rad Home Depot Race Cart that you see in the photo. Thats what Dali Man picked. Good call buddy that cart is awesome…so i guess thats the end of this weeks photo, i hear Mr Dali Man upstairs getting ready and we now off to the park —-Guess what were going to the park in? Yup Home Deport Race Car Cart thats what.
