14/52— Bedtime Stories

Today is Day 3 of me and Dali hanging out as Tam has been gone for the weekend and Daddy Daycare has been awesome! Me and Dali have been partying all weekend, rocking tummy time, having adventures around the house, playing in the exersaucer, Rusty the Robot dance time and of course lots of books. So when me and Dali were hanging out last night i thought id take this photo of one of those “Classic Bedtime Story Moments”. Its these exact seconds and fleeting memories that will pass by so fast. I feel as tho this is exactly 100% where im suppose to be in my life right now and being part of a moment like this really does fill my heart. This is my kid- Thats still such a surreal feeling to me.
Even as i sit here writing these words and i look up to see the photo it stops me in my tracks it still just amazes me that somehow i got so lucky. I finally know now what it means when people say “when you have a kid you would do anything for them” To me thats the most true underrated statement ever. So thats why this moments like classic bedtime stories are so important to me. This is life right now. Its happening right in front of you This is life in this exact moment and you better make sure you catch it and truly appreciate every second of it cause i know thats where me and Dali will be…..
