This years new Dali Man Light Painting Photo

Last night when i went to check and see if Mr Dali Man had fallen asleep i went into his room and this is what i saw. Mr Dali Man fast asleep and dreaming away. So i knew i had to try and capture a moment like that –those are the parts of wonder as a kid that we can relate to –is dreams–cause as an adult thats the only time we can usually let go of reality is when your dreaming..but think of a kid –they live in that land of altered reality everyday with their imagination. They can make up adventures that rival great movies they have a way of letting their mind work and process a whole other world in the blink of an eye.I can see that imagination in Dali already, as he grabs a paper airplane and fly’s it around the house with his hands and then then goes into his room saying hes “going to Jamaica” see you later he says, and then 2 minutes later he comes back out like he actually just went for a trip to Jamaica–he will tell you he had a good time and everything. He went snorkeling and rode boats who knows he might have even see a dinosaur along the way — I guess thats just one awesome reason why kids are so great.
So thats what i wanted to help capture in this photo.
The Magical world of dreams and reality.
This photo was 30 seconds long and i lit Dali using a mini flashlight pointed at him for around 4 or 5 seconds, then for his name i used a purple light and traced out the block letters and after that ending the photo by making some floating purple flakes in the air.
