Dali was 15 weeks old yesterday when we took this photo.
If there is one thing that every 4 month old kid knows is that the 1st time they get in a Jolly Jumper its party time. For real the Jolly Jumper has to be the best baby invention ever, Dali hands down loves it and has been in training for the last couple weeks. Actually we call it” Extreme Jolly Jumper Training” cause from the 1st time we put him in the Jolly Jumper it was go time and as soon as Dali realized that he could make himself bounce “in his mind he thought” “wow”this has to be the coolest thing ive even seen” Well considering he is only 4 months old im sure it is the coolest thing he has even seen. He must have spent 30 minutes in there non stop bouncing accompanied by the his teething drool fest and he was as happy as he could be. So today it was our weekly photo update and i thought that a photo of Dali in his Jolly Jumper would be the perfect way to mark this occasion. Thats what ive been trying to do with all these photos of Dali in this first year of his life is be able to catch all those moments that represent and help define parenthood cause its these moments that are the milestones every parent goes though and these are the times that Dali we be able to look back on and help him remember those seconds of when he was so little. Everyone we talk with always says that they grow up to fast and everyday they are changing and thats why making time to capture moments like this seem so important to me and being able to have that tangible memory like this photo in front of you to look at as the years pass is something that i look forward to, cause as a photographer that is my job to capture memories like wedding day walks down the isle and moments like the 1st dance between the newly married couple. Thats my job its being able to catch the present and make those moments last forever and in my life those important memories are those of Dali and that exact moment you see in front of you -So this is what we were up to on week 15 in the life of Dali Roads .
Yup –Extreme Jolly Jumper Training just happened.
