Guess who just won the “North Bay’s Mother and Child Downtown Stroller Street Race 2013” -Yup Mr Dali Man and Tam did thats who. It was a race like none other which took place here in the Bay yesterday and any North Bay mother and her child (2 years or younger) could compete. So when Tam found out about the race, she went into full training mode.She bought 2 treadmills, started eating only Kale and Bok Choy , and every morning she ran 34 laps around City Hall in preparation of the race. So when race day rolled around Tam was ready, she put on her trusty flip-flops and lined up with 56 of North Bays Mothers. The race was to start in West Ferris down at sunset park and end after making it through main street and finish in the back of Deegans. So the buzzer went off and the race started. well no sooner then 8 minutes and 46 seconds later guess who came flying across the finish line jacked up leave all the other runners in her dust -Yup Tam and Mr Dali Man. It was an amazing win and i snapped this photo at that exact second as Tam came flying around the corner on her way to the finish line –if you look close you can see even her flip flop went flying in the air., Total dedication. 100% hard work and inspiration like MR T is what lead to the win Tam says, she thanked everyone, did 4 interviews, signed 16 autographs and then bought ice cream for everyone. … See you all at next years North Bay’s Mother and Child Downtown Stroller Street Race
