Year Two-4/52–Tams Gone out of town so its Party Time with Shakira Shakira Shakira
Dali is now 13 months old
This is a photo i took yesterday but it was inspired from a shot from last year with me and Dali reading good night moon, so i thought we could upgrade to Blender Magazine right?
Anyway here we go.
Its just been me and Dali for the last couple days as Tam is gone out of town on a road trip trying on weddings dresses wow thats exciting, so its just me and Dali Man hanging out Daddy Daycare style again, and im telling ya its always fun when Dali is around. This kid is for real so funny, he makes me laugh all day. So with Tam being gone what better time then now to show Dali who Shakira is? What? (long story short this was the only magazine with a scantily clad girl on it that they had at Alison The Bookman when i stopped by to get a prop for this shot, so its gota work right?) ya gota make do and plus Shakira makes for a good story right? Well not really a top pick but anyway K Here it goes –
You see back in 1995–2000: was Shakira’s Latin breakthrough and thats when i seen her perform for the first time in a little night club on a trip in 97 that we were taking in Brazil. We had no clue what she was saying as none of us spoke Spanish,all tho Franz a Swiss backpacker who said he understood a little bit of Spanish thought Shakira was saying it was an open bar and she was buying drinks all night for everyone, the crowd cheered and we thought hey it must be true? Franz look like a reliable source? So we started to grab drinks from the waiters trays as they walked by and they looked at us like what are we doing here? and why are we taking drinks? We responded in English that we thought it was open bar on Shakira?–the waitress didn’t understand us and Franz stepped in trying to translate–all tho by this time Franz had taken about 12 shots of Tequila and his Spanish sounded more like Swiss cheese –no one understood anything and the next thing we know 4 bouncers are grabbing us trying to throw us out the back door, we had no chance. So that was the first time i seen Shakira. Obviously none of that s true but its late as i write this and really i just like to write some times, make up stories and thats what this image is –a way to create art with Dali
So that’s it for week 4 of Year Two and thats whats happening Dali Man and me just hanging out Farther and Son style —wow i cant believe im a dad –Thanks again to everyone who takes the time to read these rants and check out these photos i really appreciate your time. Cheers to you
