Year Two–7/52–All You Can Eat Cookie Competition Goes Wrong: Dali vs Cookie Monster

This is what happens when a friendly game of “All you can eat cookies” goes wrong. You see this photo was taken about mid way through the competition when Dali realized he was getting full and he was up against cookie monster in a cookie competition? What? Who tries to take on Cookie Monster like that? Well let me start from the top and tell you how this photo came about.. You see one of Dali’s best friend is Cookie Monster, they hang out all the time, how cool is that to have Cookie Monster as your best friend, but just like best friends do they sometimes argue who is better at something–so yesterday as we were getting ready for lunch a commotion broke out and the next thing i knew it was “All You Can Eat Cookie Competition Time” Well that escalated quickly –so i set it up- Yup Dali vs Cookie Monster in a cookie competition.
You see cookie monster has been chopping on cookies since 1966 and has amply experience in over eating and he went with FudgeeO’s for his biscuit of choice, now Dali on the other hand has never had a FudgeeO and the only cookie he has ever had was those o so good baby Arrowroot ones–So that’s what Dali went with-you can see a few of them stacked up on his high chair (Dali thought choosing the Arrowroot cookie was the best as they almost dissolve in your mouth where as those FudgeeO’s have to be hard to chew. So as the acting judge of this competition i lined up all the cookies and got them ready to start, Dali was jacked up ready to go and Cookie Monster just kept yelling “ME WANT COOKIE”. So with the drop of an arm the competition was under way. You see Dali started of strong devouring his first 10 cookies in under a 2 minutes but when he looked over to see how Cookie Monster was doing he noticed that cookie monster had already eating 32 cookies in 2 minutes, what? Dali thought and Dali tried to catch up but after another 4 cookies he was starting to get full so this is where Dali thought never mind this im taking this Cookie Monster out as he reached over to take that FudgeeO from his mouth and then the next thing i know it was a food fight and all out barrage of flying FudgeeO’s and Arrowroot’s launching across the room. As the judge i had to steep in and declare the competition a win for Cookie Monster–Dali didn’t like that and cried in protest babbling something about it was a rigged competition anyway —O Dali Man you will learn one day you just cant take on Cookie Monster in a cookie eating competition—Hes Cookie Monster the world champ.
So all in all life lessons were learned and this was week 7 of year two in the life of Dali
